Contests, Contests, Contests

There are three main contest types held in Las Vegas during the football season.

The first type is for the professional or experienced handicapper and involves making selections against the pointspread. There are two varieties of this contest type. One is a contest such as the SuperContest which requires a substantial entry fee in order to participate (SuperContest entries are $1,500) or Invitational Tournaments in which recognized professional handicappers are invited to share their selections on a weekly or periodic basis during the season. A separate page on our website is devoted to these 'high end' or 'professional' contests and may be accessed by clicking here.

The second type of contest is one that is free to enter and generally requires the contestant to pick the straight up winner of football games played each week. Some contests may include college games to be selected. These contests generally have weekly prizes and may also have to prizes for the full season. The contests of which we are aware are listed below in the 'Other Contests' section of this page.

The third type of contest is one that carries a relatively modest entry fee ($10 - $25) and generally requires the contestant to pick the straight up winner of football games played each week. Some contests may include college games to be selected or for selections to be made against the pointspread. Some of the contests may also offer a 'free' additional entry if the contestant purchases several entries beyond just one. These contests also generally have weekly prizes and prizes for the full season. The contests of which we are aware are listed below in the 'Other Contests' section of this page.
